Overview
Tjilik Riwut Airport (IATA: PKY, ICAO: WAGG), formerly Panarung Airport, is a domestic airport serving Palangkaraya, the capital city of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Located approximately 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from the center of Palangkaraya, the airport is named after Anakletus Tjilik Riwut (1918–1987), an Indonesian Air Force officer and politician of Dayak Ngaju descent. He served as the second governor of Central Kalimantan and is recognized as a national hero of Indonesia.
