Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport (IATA: TAS, ICAO: UZTT) is the main international airport in Uzbekistan, the second busiest airport in Central Asia (after Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan), and the 7th busiest airport in the former Soviet Union. It is located 12 kilometres (6+1⁄2 nautical miles) from the center of Tashkent.
