Overview
Gulkana Airport (IATA: GKN, ICAO: PAGK, FAA LID: GKN) is a state owned, public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) northeast of the central business district of Gulkana, in the Copper River Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is also five miles (8 km) northeast of Glenallen. Scheduled passenger service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 204 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 187 enplanements in 2009, and 141 in 2010.
